Thể Thao 247 - Coach Duong Minh Ninh stepped down Hoang Anh Gia Lai’s head coach after the team had gone through the fourth failure in this season.
Passing the 0 – 3 loss against Quang Nam, Duong Minh Ninh took his all responsibility on the team’s poor result in the past 6 matches.
Mr. Lee Tae Hoon will undertake HAGL’s head coach position and officially leads the team from the 7th match.
He said: "I will make every effort with the coaches and the whole team to build a solidary team, a close playing style helping improve the team’s achievement in the future."
Mr. Lee Tae-Hoon was once the head coach of U23 Campuchia and Campuchia NT in the period of 2010-2012 and 2013-2017 respectively.
From the beginning of 2019, he is HADL’s technical director and joins U23 Vietnam’s coaches leading the team ahead of AFC U-23 Championship Qualifiers.
