Forward Supachok confidently sets goal to reach the final of AFC U23 Championship 2020.
Supachok and his teammates are focusing their efforts on preparing for the AFC U23 Championship 2020.
"This is a very difficult tournament because the competitors are very strong. We have to get good results in 3 matches in the group stage. then to the final to guarantee an Olympic slot. We are the home team and get high expectations. Therefore, Thailand U23 must go as far as possible," Siam Sport quoted Supachok
"I know that we are playing very different performances than before. The home advantage plus the efforts of experienced players will help us beat the opponents. We have to bear a lot of pressure but the whole team will turn that pressure into motivation."
"I'm not too serious about myself scoring goals. Collective is important. If I score 10 goals but the team loses it is meaningless. I believe my teammates also think so."
Coach Akira Nishino announced a preliminary list of 33 Thai players preparing for the upcoming tournament. A notable face is Ben Davies, the player who plays for Fullham Club in England. Earlier, he was summoned to attend the SEA Games but was not approved by the host team.
Thailand U23 will face many difficulties in Group A with U23 Iraq, U23 Australia and U23 Bahrain.
